SOO. I HAD THIS DREAM. I haven't seen Wall-E yet, but here's how it went:
Wall-E was this tiny black guy, think Gary Coleman, but younger and more of a little hoodlum. OH and he had square, black framed glasses. So he was running around this facility, and some scientist guy was like "Yo, I'm making this totally hot robot chick, you should check her out." And Wall-E was like "Yeeahh boooyyy that would be HOT." So he went over to this guy's computer where he had 3-dimensionally constructed what Eve's insides would look like, and Wall-E was saying all these gross pervy things. BUT THEN SECURITY SAW HIM! And he wasn't supposed to be there!! He booked it and got caught by the garbage robot DUN DUN DUNNNN!!

I want to see Wall-E. Maybe not this version.

So... My subscription ran out, it seems. Usually DA harasses you for DAYS about the impending end of the subscription, but not this time! I'll renew when I have just a liiiiittle bit more cash. I think I get paid next week, it's coo'.

ALMOST DONE WITH FINALLSSSSS! Actually that's not true, I'm completely done with finals, but I have my second year review I have to get ready for. Every Sophomore has to present 10 of their best projects to a panel of 3-5 of the faculty members and talk about them for 10 minutes. That's one minute per piece, and for two of them we have to show our process. I'm probably one of the most anxious people in the universe, but I'm not feeling very nervous about this. I was told it's supposed to be a really positive thing, unless there are some MAJORHUGE issues. I'm doing fairly well in school though so yay.

I'm going to start working at the zoo full time again starting friday next week. Someone contacted me because they saw something I had in one of the school's galleries, and they want to talk to me about some possible freelance work. UM. HELL YES?! I'm also supposed to be doing something for a possible children's book, but I feel like crap because I haven't been able to get the sample done yet. School+work=AUSUHGUSDHF.

I had a dream that I ate bread that was formed into the shape of an armadillo.

Wow. This site sucks so hard without a sub. I plan to renew it with my next paycheck if I can afford it, but I also plan on buying my plane ticket for Steph's wedding AND paying for William's vet bill. Apparently he's actually 5-7 years old, even though the woman we got him from said he was about 2. HM. His kidneys are also rather small. We'll get the results of his blood test today.

Oh anyway. I won't be very active (lol right 'cause I'm active now?) until I get myself resubbed.

Well, it looks like my sub will have to wait until another paycheck comes around. My cat has some heavy duty gingivitis (I think I can thank the previous owners for that) and the dental bill is going to be outrageous. I get 50% all of my vet bills until my last day there, but still. Before my discount the dental bill alone is expected to be between $300 and $500. Of course I'm going to do it, I love my cat, but ouch. And we have to start buying him senior cat food. It's not a big deal yet, so that can wait a little bit, but I was looking at prices and it's much pricier.

No, not really. I've been really unhappy with uploading art to the internet recently, but I just realized something: It's DA. I don't know specifically what bothers me about this site, but there are a few things I can't stand.

The admins. They've never done anything to me, but I'm just not a fan. They don't seem to listen that well to the community, and it's possible that's just because the site is so huge, they don't have the time. I can't go around blaming them for all the problems, but it's a little unfair that some issues aren't being dealt with.

The ads. I have a subscription so I don't have to deal with them, but I have seen it while I have been logged out and it's just hideous. This new thing where they shove GIGANTIC ads into galleries is not cool. It's distracting and just overall ugly.

The community. I remember when I originally joined in 2003 (I had a different name) the community was much smaller and closer. Now it's just exploded and gone wild and crazy. Again, that's not something anyone can help, but it still drives me crazy.

I might upload occasionally, but I can guarantee I will upload much less. (Less? But you hardly upload now! BOOO!). I don't think you're missing much I will still comment, because I love you guys and I love your art. I may start redesigning my site (It's been down for well over a year now) and I will upload there. After that's up, I will post to my Livejournal again. Until then, you can find me on Fur Affinity. The community is better there, ads aren't all over the place, and as far as I can tell, the admins aren't super nazis.
