heeeyyyyyyyyy. I did that thing again where I was silent as hell for a long period of time oops.


Things have been really rough in the last year. I went through easily the worst depression of my life, caused by some things and aggravated by other things. You're a group of artists, I probably don't need to explain what depression does to you, you know how difficult it is to do anything, even a thing you love, when you are depressed. 

Life recently completely turned around and I'm actually feeling good and optimistic. I mean, my new desk view overlooks a creek that has frogs, how can things be too bad? My frog buddies were chatting up a storm until some crazy rain hit and the wind picked up, causing me to cower into my sweatshirt. I've said before that I was a bloodhound in a past life, but I think I was actually a chihuahua. 

I'm getting my art back on track now! I've had some typesetting work recently that has been keeping me occupied, but the big news is that I've received the manuscript for my next book illustration project and I'm very excited to get started on it!

If you want to keep up with me, I'm active on tumblr. I have one account for reblogs and another I use to document things I'm working on, but the art one may be quiet for a while as I am not allowed to share my book illustration progress. NEATO HUH, THE BIG LEAGUES.
